'Dice Rolls Brashear
The Allderdice Dragons have been the most consistent team in the Pittsburgh City League over the course of the last decade--Basketball is a hot sport at the Squirrel Hill school and they flexed their muscles against a shorthanded Brashear team on Thursday, cruising to a 79-44 victory.

'Dice came out and established a fast pace to the opening quarter and its superior guard play was evident from the opening tip. Their crisp offense and fast feet on the defensive side of things pushed them out to a 29-16 lead after the first quarter.
They turned the heat on in the second quarter and ran out to a 56-27 halftime lead as coach Devin Crummie showcased the depth of his squad, going deep into his bench and still getting starter level results.
Michael Quigley led the Dragons with 18 at the break.
The second half was more of the same as Allderdice created turnovers, altered shots and got out in transition for easy points, rolling to victory.
Quigley finished with a game high 22, folowed by Major Rainey with 17. Almost every 'Dice player scored, and all of them saw action in multiple quarters.
Jahmier Kidd led Brashear with 12 points--It is worth noting that there are at minimum, three regulars who are injured for Brashear, including star junior TaMere Robinson, who is recovering from a football injury.
Allderdice battles Obama Friday night with City League title implications on the line. Tip off is 7PM at Obama and Three Rivers Broadcasting will be in attendance.
