Football Power Ranking Powered By Polish Falcons 9-19-22

The season is rapidly nearing its halfway point and we are starting to separate the contenders from the pretenders throughout the region and we saw a host of top teams take losses this past week.

What Did We Learn?

* Mount Lebanon is alive and well. Bob Palko outmaneuvered the Vikings, again. Central Catholic is loaded to the brim with top shelf talent, but for reasons yet to be determined, Bob Palko has become the equivalent of a four-letter word at PCC.

* Upper Saint Clair continues to show they are the real deal. Another week, another statement.

*Steubenville(OH) high ranking is justified. They faced a major test with Dover and came out on top. They have another showcase test coming up on Friday as they travel down the river to take on Wheeling Park(WV).

*We've added an Around The Region Small School Poll to give the smaller schools outside of the WPIAL, but inside the region we cover, some love. The Linsly School(WV) tops the poll this week.

This Week on TRB:

*Westinghouse vs Allderdice is the marquee game in the Pittsburgh City League this season. We'll have it LIVE on TRB this Thursday evening. Pre-Game at 6:30 PM.

*Friday we will have University vs Carrick and Perry vs Brashear on our air. 3PM Pre-Game for University and ~6:50PM Pre-Game for Perry-Brashear.
