Great Weekend For Three Rivers Student Athletes

Updated: Nov 14

Our student athlete reporting team at Three Rivers Broadcasting had a great weekend of individual performances at Robert Morris and Point Park.

Alijah Jackson, a senior running back on the RMU football team, had 20 carries for 91 yards and TD, as well as 5 catches for 24 yards. Alijah had over 125 yards in last weekend's RMU victory.

Jordan Yaniga, a junior forward, started her womens basketball season at PPU on Friday by scoring 5 points and grabbing 6 rebounds in a victory over Bryant&Stratton. She turned on the heat Saturday for 14 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block in just 8 minutes of action as the Pioneers scored their second victory in two days at the Carlow Tip Off Classic.

RMU Football travels to Monmouth next weekend before finishing the season at home on November 20th--That date will be Alijah's final RMU game, so we encourage all of our fans to come out and support him!

Jordan and her teammates at Point Park will be home on Monday evening, Novemebr 8th for a 7PM game against PSU Greater Allegheny. That contest will take place at Oakland Catholic. They travel to PSU Greater Allegheny on Wednesday and will host WVU Tech on the 16th at 5:30 PM.

We are very proud of the accomplishments on the field and court, in the classroom and in the office of both Alijah and Jordan and are blessed to have them on the team at Three Rivers Broadcasting.
